Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Head of Liabilities who will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the organization’s liability products. The ideal candidate will ensure sound risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role focuses on developing innovative liability strategies, enhancing customer acquisition and retention, and maximizing revenue while maintaining a high-quality portfolio.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall liabilities business strategy, including deposits, savings, and related products.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by developing and implementing marketing and sales initiatives.
- Identify new market opportunities and design competitive products to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Oversee daily operations and performance of liability portfolios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, marketing, risk, and compliance) to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular management reports.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in liabilities management, deposits, or related roles within the financial services industry.
- Proven record of achieving revenue growth and business targets.
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the banking or financial sector.
