Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Operations and Procurement Officer responsible for overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and supporting daily operational workflows. The role ensures timely sourcing of quality materials, effective logistics coordination, and accurate documentation to facilitate smooth and efficient company operations.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
  •  Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  •  Maintain up-to-date supplier records, price lists, and procurement files.
  •  Monitor stock levels and coordinate prompt replenishment of materials.
  •  Track delivery schedules, logistics planning, and inventory movements.
  •  Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures and best practices.
  •  Prepare routine operational and procurement reports for management review.
  •  Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and other departments to support efficient operations.
  •  Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and established standards.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and/or operations.
  •  Strong negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing skills.
  •  Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain systems, and inventory control.
  •  Proficiency in MS Office; ERP or procurement system experience is an added advantage.
  •  Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  •  Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
