Business Development Manager

Summary:

On behalf of our client in the construction industry, we are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to lead business growth and expand the company’s project portfolio. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and securing new construction projects, developing strategic partnerships, and promoting the company’s services within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector
2.   Source and secure building and infrastructure projects
3.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
4.  Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tenders for construction projects
5.   Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to ensure project feasibility and delivery
6.   Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and areas for business expansion

Requirements:

1.   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
2.   Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the construction industry
3.   Strong knowledge of civil engineering or construction processes
4.   Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
